ISHD Endorsement Request Policy
Criteria
The program must be judged to be in line with the ISHD mission – addressing the science and clinical practice of hemodialysis.
The planning committee of the event must be representative of the target audience and free of industry influence.
The program or conference must be an in-person group learning activity with clearly defined learning objectives that do address the learning needs of the target audience.
The event must be approved for appropriate continuing medical education unit for the venue where the event will be held – i.e. US – ACCME-Accredited CME Sponsor approval. Learners must have the opportunity to evaluate the offering and there must be a clear declaration of conflict and accompanying disclosures of such conflict.
An application must be submitted at least 10 weeks prior to the start date of the program to allow evaluation. Applicants are encouraged to submit well in advance of the deadline as once approval is granted, the program will be promoted on the ISHD social media channels and website.
Where possible, ISHD members will receive a discount on any applicable registration fees.
The program sponsor will make all possible efforts to encourage all registrants to become a member of ISHD through the ISHD website – ishd.org.
ISHD reserves the right to decline a request for endorsement without any statement of reason.

· Title of the meeting / workshop
· Location and dates
· Names and affiliations of organizing & scientific committees
· Suggested or confirmed speakers/faculty
· Objectives and a tentative program outline & format
· Description of target audience
· Disclosure of any corporate involvement/sponsorship
· Sample of initial announcement(s) (if available)
· Continuing Medical Education Sponsorship information.
Disclaimer
The ISHD will have no financial obligations in the organization of the endorsed event.
Fee
The ISHD will charge a one-time fee for endorsement in the amount of $250 USD.
